As Easter is approaching, I can't help but think of my Savior and everything he had done for me and continues to do for me.
Watching the LDS Easter message for this year, I found myself wondering how I personally find new life through Jesus Christ. I thought of my baby, Daxton. Watching him take on life and discovering new things every day with such innocents, amazement, testifies to me that there really is a living Savior up there watching over us, and we can find new life through him.
I love this quote! Children don't judge the person they just walked by, children don't take offense, children don't have anger and jealousy towards another, children don't care what others think of them, children aren't tempted by the worldliness. But children do see the good in everyone, children love you no matter what, children accept everyone. My son is such an amazing example to me already. Everywhere we go he is saying hi to everyone he sees, and is trying to make friends with everyone. I know that I can find new life by striving to see the world the way perfect children do, and by following our Saviors example.
I am so thankful that he has made it possible for every one of us to become more like him and that we can find new life and have a fresh start if we follow him. I pray that I can become more like my Savior. I know it is possible to be forgiven of our sins, big or small, through him, because he gave us that gift.
I hope everyone has a happy Easter this weekend, and that we can remember the reason why we celebrate this holiday. Our Savior does live. He was resurrected, and it is possible to find new life through him.
